Mother's Day is Sunday... what is the best advice your mother ever gave you?
Mine came right after I got fired from my radio job in Birmingham, she sent me a
plaque that read... 'Find a job you love and you'll never
have to work a day in your life.'
Sen. Orr and Sen. Butler again fail to vote, why show up if your not gonna vote. Ahhhh more to the story... they are holding it up over the quarry in Limestone County.
Hillary Clinton states facts, gets called racist. This is a preview of the general election. "I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on," then cited a recent AP article that, quote, "found how Senator Obama's support among working, hardworking Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me. There's a pattern emerging here."
Cindy McCain will NOT release her tax returns. Double standard?
Player has heart attack while running bases. Did they tag him out? Who knew 13 year olds have heart attacks?
Wal-Mart finally does what I have been telling them to do for months... build a store outside the city limits of cities that try to stop them from moving in. I also recommend that they take a loss on items in order to kill the neighboring city and send a message, no word on that yet.

Oh nonononononono laptops for schools on the school dime? This is a horrible idea, Birmingham has been toying with it.
Gas increases are hitting schools and cities hard, now seems like an awful time to be talking about laptops.
A revised version of Arthur Orr, immigration bill passes house committee.
Smoking ban moves on too. Will become reality.
Are you an evangelical? Is your faith TOO politicized. An "Evangelical Manifesto" is out, it calls for an "expansion of our concerns beyond single-issue politics."
Are you done with you SUV?
John McCain did not vote for Bush in 2000? AWESOME
Hate crimes law
grows, which is the danger of
hate crime
laws. Who is next? Lefties, fatties, morons,
smokers...
Pundits say race is over... Hillary says no it's not.
Check your lotto tickets... it could win ya some money.
NJ wants to jack tolls 45%, still think this is a good idea?
PETA wants cow memorials
attention.
Most junk food obsessed
cities...

2. Pittsburgh
3. Memphis, Tenn. <= south

Obama wins NC, barely loses Indiana. Clinton pledges to keep fighting
on, while Obama give "victory speech." Obama
lands 91% of black vote in NC and 90% in Indiana, can he win like this?

We keep hearing that they (Clinton & Obama) will support their opponent but the supporters say "no we will not." Which makes me want to revisit the "I won't vote for McCain" Republicans.
On Grocery tax, Huntsville Times says "Just
trust the people." I say "hell no," the people are stupid. Here are
two legislators who abstained last time. Abstained? Really, vote and get on the
record.

House passes stimulus check exemption.
Nuns turned away for no ID, tough. Get with it Sister.
More whining about the rescue mission relocation, "evil developers" involved. City pumps in a million bucks. The Left in Alabama blog has a few interesting, albeit it ill-informed, takes on this issue.

Gov. Riley can veto double dipping override... will he?
Watch out parents, your snowflakes are being targeted in schools. Targeted to put there cell phones away.
Smoking ban deters teen smoking.
Private money involved in mission relocation.
So the University Sparkman
Business Association is now changing it's campaign to target me, BRILLIANT!.

Rep. Mike Ball argued against SB395? It is a bill preventing Governor or other authority from disarming law abiding citizens during states of Emergency. Mike Ball argued against it saying that the police should always have the right to disarm anyone they choose even if no crime has been committed.

America on the downswing?
Oprah left Rev. Wright's church because "she is a businesswoman."
Sue Schmitz just won't stay down, says she is now claiming she is being targeted. Basically she is trying the "it's not fair" argument.
PETA wants jockey suspended
attention.
Wayne Farms has a new TB plan.
Sieglman given a "hero's welcome," that is pretty embarrassing.
Gas tax, gas tax, gas tax.
What is this ridiculous Wright/Obama = some pastor
endorsing McCain/McCain
nonsense.
